This stuff is an honest game-changer for me. I life in Florida, and I sweat. Like a lot of sweat. After an hour of playing outdoor tennis, I have completely soaked through all of my clothes, socks, shoes, etc. I was using Wilson Pro grip tape before this, and it worked okay, but after the 1st 3 or 4 games, I was losing grip on the racket no matter how much I tried to wipe it off. This ADV tape is a totally different feel and it doesn't seem to soak any of the sweat up. I can play 2 sets and still feel like I have total grip and control of the racket. Absolutely amazing product that has greatly improved my tennis game!
I'm a 5.0 player and I play 4 or 5 times per week. And I usually need to change grips (Head or Wilson) after 3 times out. Which each time I probably spend a solid 3 hours or more on court. A fresh grip will usually start fading after one use but I just got used to accepting it because who wants to pay 8 bucks for a 3 pack? Well, I just played for 4 hrs and I an't say a bad thing about this grip. I will never buy anything else. It actually felt like I didn't even use it and my hand was extremely sweaty. I really don't understand how it can be that absorbent but I'm not complaining. Thank you for finally giving us a solid grip for this game we love. Now please don't go jackin up the price once everyone else starts buying it lol
I was in a bad mood when I bought these grips. I'm a 4.0 player and had just finished the most frustrating afternoon of tennis that I can remember, and it was all because I had sweat through not one, but two new Wilson overgrips in an hour to the point where I could not serve with any power without losing control of my racquet completely. I live in Dallas and the humidity can be a problem, especially in 100+ degree weather, and this particular afternoon was both. Desperate for anything that could keep both my palms and my grip dry, I wrapped my racquet with one of these ADV Dry Overgrips and went back out the following weekend to virtually the exact same conditions as before and HOLY SMOKES!
