The whole test
If something on your bag stops working, it's covered. If it just looks used, it isn't.

- Handles
- Seams & seam tape
- Mesh pockets
- Structural fabric & elastic
- Scuffs & scratches
- Stains
- Fading & UV wear
- Blemishes
- Cosmetic aging
We're not going to make you prove it was a factory defect and not just βusing it a lot.β Using it a lot is the point. If it broke while you were playing, traveling, or hauling your gear the way this bag was built to be hauled, we'll take care of it.
And your bag is supposed to look like it's been somewhere. That's not damage, that's a rΓ©sumΓ©.
A few things we can't cover
- The airline. We love your bag. Baggage handlers, historically, do not.
- Your dog. Or your cat, or the raccoon that got into the garage. If a pet decided your bag was a chew toy, that one's between the two of you.
- The car. Backing over your own bag is a rite of passage. It is not, however, a manufacturing defect.
- Genuine accidents of the sort that make a good story.
That said β reach out anyway. We're reasonable people, we've heard worse, and we'd much rather find a way to help than read you a clause.
How a claim works

File your claim
Head to returns.getadv.com with your order number, a photo, and a short description of what happened. The photo does most of the work β we can usually tell what went wrong at a glance.

We get you the fastest good fix
Sometimes that's a replacement part in the mail, sometimes a new bag, sometimes we'll just cover a repair at a shop near you. We'll tell you what we recommend and why. Repairs and replacements are issued at ADV's discretion.
Who pays shipping

| Domestic (U.S.) | If we need your bag back, you cover shipping it to us. We cover the return trip β your repaired or replacement bag ships back to you on us. |
| International | If shipping is needed, it's on you in both directions. Before it comes to that, we'll look at every option that doesn't involve putting a bag on a plane β more often than not, there's a faster fix. |
Good to know
Replacements. Where possible we fill warranty replacements from open-box or gently used stock that meets our quality standards, or new items if those aren't available. Replacements carry the same 10-year or lifetime term as your original purchase.
ADV Renew. Renewed and refurbished bags carry their own 1-year functional warranty. See our Renew warranty page.
Authorized purchases only. Gear bought from unauthorized resellers or aftermarket platforms isn't covered.
Limitations. We've built our reputation on making high-quality gear and offering the best customer service out there, and we'll keep up our end. We just ask you to keep up yours:
- Cosmetic damage β scratches, blemishes, stains, and fading aren't covered. We build gear to develop character over time, not flaws.
- Intentional misuse β damage from misuse, neglect, or deliberate destruction isn't covered. Our bags are built for a lot of things. They are not built for all things.
- Lost or stolen items β we can't replace what walked off. For peace of mind, insure your gear.
- Fraudulent claims β deliberate damage or duplicate claims will be denied.
- Inspection β occasionally we may ask you to send the product in for a closer look before approving a claim.
ADV reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
We'd rather keep a bag in play than replace it. It's faster for you, less hassle, and you get to keep the bag you've already broken in. Bags that come back to us and can be brought back to life go into ADV Renew and find a second player. Questions? Email help@getadv.com β a real person will answer.
Liability release. Our bags are designed and built to handle the demands of competitive racquet sports and beyond. While we engineer our products to be safe and reliable, ADV is not liable for any damage to your racquets, paddles, accessories, or other gear stored within our bags. Additionally, we are not responsible for any damage to property or bodily injury caused by the misuse or improper handling of our products. Please use your ADV gear responsibly to ensure a long and safe lifespan for both your equipment and yourself.
